After a brief eighth grade trial at IMG Academy, Luke Carney came to Texas and showed why he deserves to be a National High School prospect. Elite Accuracy, Solid Throwing mechanics, Elite speed, Extremely high IQ, Good size and has been timed in the 40 yard dash at 4.62. He only knows how to win and dominate. Luke is a very impressive athlete. He comes from a sports bloodline, his brother Isaac Carney is a sprinter at the University of Arkansas. His parents played high level sports and it shows. He currently has an offer from Georgia Tech with several other schools very interested. Also competes in the classroom as well. Carney has a 4.2 GPA and recorded a official S.A.T Score in 9th grade of 1260. He has been named First Team All District, District Offensive Player of The Year, Texas Underclassman Of The Year. Luke Carney has been selected as one of the Top 300 Overall players in America, according to recruitcertified.com. He is well on his way to major College football and who ever lands this kid in 2 years will be impressed on day one.
